Băsescu cere FMI și ironizează AUR

În prezent, România se confruntă cu un blocaj instituțional sever, iar partidele politice par incapabile să formeze o majoritate stabilă. Această situație a fost analizată critic de fostul președinte Traian Băsescu, care a subliniat că actuala generație de lideri politici se comportă într-un mod distructiv, în contrast cu pragmatismul care caracteriza negocierile din timpul mandatului său. Băsescu a evidențiat că orgoliile și condițiile impuse de partide fac imposibilă găsirea unei soluții de compromis, iar dialogul între taberele politice este plin absent.

Fostul președinte a declarat că nu a mai întâlnit un asemenea blocaj în cariera sa politică, menționând că, în trecut, politicienii erau mai raționali. Acum, fiecare partid își apără propriul electorat prin veto-uri care contribuie la instabilitatea țării. Băsescu a subliniat că, în orice democrație, Constituția ar permite organizarea de alegeri anticipate pentru a debloca situația, însă România nu dispune de acest instrument.

Referitor la strategia opoziției suveraniste, care a inițiat procedurile de suspendare a președintelui Nicușor Dan, Băsescu a criticat această abordare, considerând-o deconectată de realitățile cu care se confruntă populația. El a subliniat că prioritățile ar trebui să fie formarea unui guvern funcțional și nu suspendarea președintelui. În opinia sa, este esențial să se solicite ajutorul Fondului Monetar Internațional pentru a încheia un acord preventiv, având în vedere gravitatea situației economice actuale.

Băsescu a tras un semnal de alarmă cu privire la riscurile economice, amintind de criza financiară din 2010. Gol un guvern capabil să implementeze măsuri fiscale eficiente, România riscă să fie retrogradată de agențiile internaționale de rating, ceea ce ar putea duce la dificultăți în obținerea de finanțare pe piețele externe și la reintroducerea unor măsuri de austeritate severe.
